In order to showcase the positive spirit and outstanding achievements of our international students, and establish exemplary models among them, the university has decided to hold the selection for Excellent Graduate Students (International Students) of the Class of 2026. The relevant matters concerning the selection process are hereby notified as follows：

为展现我校留学生积极向上的精神风貌，树立优秀留学生典型，学校决定举办2026届上海交通大学优秀留学生研究生毕业生评选活动。现将评选活动的有关事项通知如下：

1. Eligibility 评选对象

Graduate students (international students) graduating in 2026, excluding exchange students.

2026 届留学生研究生毕业生，不含交流交换生。

2. Selection Criteria 评选标准

● Be able to graduate on schedule in 2026 (the Excellent Graduate Student certificate will be revoked if graduation is not completed in 2026).

能够按规定在 2026 年毕业。（如未能在 2026 年毕业，将追回其获评的优秀毕业生证书）

● Demonstrate excellent performance in China, maintain a friendly attitude towards China, and show a love for Chinese culture.

在华表现优秀，对华态度友好，热爱中华文化。

● Abide by Chinese laws and regulations, as well as university rules and disciplines. Possess good moral character and conduct, with no record of illegal activities or disciplinary violations.

遵守中国法律法规和校级校规，品行端正、表现良好，无违法犯罪记录和违规违纪行为。

● Complete all required courses in the training plan on time with excellent academic performance, and possess strong scientific research capabilities with significant achievements.

按时修完培养计划中的全部学业，学习成绩优秀，且具备较强的科研能力，成果显著。

● In principle, should have received university-level or higher honors or scholarships during their period of study, or have demonstrated outstanding performance, achieved significant results, or made notable contributions in a specific area (supporting documentation must be provided).

在校期间原则上应获得过校级及校级以上荣誉、奖学金，或在某一方面表现突出、成绩显著或做出突出贡献（需提供证明材料）。

● Actively participate in various university public welfare activities, social practices, cultural and sports activities, etc. Be in good physical and mental health, and possess well-rounded comprehensive qualities.

积极参加学校各项公益活动、社会实践活动以及文体活动等，身心健康，具有良好的综合素质；

● If materials are found to be falsified upon review, the candidate will be disqualified from the current selection and will face corresponding disciplinary action according to university regulations.

如经审核发现材料作假，取消本次评审资格，并给予相应校纪校规处理。

3.  Selection Procedure 选拔程序

Students intending to participate in the selection must register before 23:59, Sunday, December 14th. The college will conduct a preliminary selection based on the applications (and may organize an in-person interview if necessary. The interview will be held from 16:30 to 17:30 on December 15th in Conference Room A128 of our school). Two candidates will ultimately be selected and recommended to the university for further evaluation. Specific details will be announced in a follow-up notice.

拟参加评选的同学须在 12月14日（星期日）23:59 前进行报名。学院将根据报名情况进行选拔（如有必要将组织线下面试，线下面试时间预计为12月15日 16:30-17:30，地点学院A128会议室），最终确定2名候选人推荐至学校参与选拔。具体信息后续会再次进行通知。

4.  Application Materials 申请材料

All materials must be submitted through the registration link. The list of required materials and their corresponding requirements are as follows:

所有材料均通过报名链接提交，材料清单及相应要求如下：

● Registration Form, see Attachement 1 in registration link. Opinions from school and university should not be filled in. Please bring the form with your supervisor's signature along when you come for the interview. The registration submitted does not need to include the supervisor's signature.

登记表，见报名链接中的附件1。学院意见和学校意见处不填写。提交报名链接时无需导师签名，在面试时将带有导师签名的表格进行提交。

● Recommendation Form, see Attachment 2 in registration link.

推荐表，见报名链接中的附件2。

● Academic transcript, issued and officially stamped by the school's Academic Affairs Office.

成绩单，由学院教务办出具并加盖公章。

● Stories of Growth and Achievement, please write according to Attachment 3 in registration link.

成长成才故事，请参考报名链接中的附件3进行撰写。

● Copies of certificates of awards at school level and above

校级及校级以上获奖证书复印件。

● Other supporting materials (electronic version):

(1) Thesis/Papers: 

a) Copies of published academic papers, including the journal cover, table of contents, and the first page of the article.

b) Paper acceptance notification or letter of acceptance, requiring the supervisor's signature.

论文：

a) 已发表的学术论文复印件，包括封面、目录及文章首页；

b) 论文录用通知或论文接收函，需导师签字。

(2) Patents or other award-winning materials.

专利或其他获奖材料：提交复印件。

● Defense presentation: The defense duration should not exceed 2 minutes. This PPT is used to introduce your background during the interview, helping the judges get to know you better (it is not the presentation for a thesis defense).

请准备不超过2分钟的展示PPT用于介绍自己的基本情况、所获荣誉等。

5.  Honors and awards 荣誉与奖励

The university will present an honorary certificate and a prize to each winner.

学校为每位获奖者颁发荣誉证书。
